CHILD POLICY & RATES (Ages 3–15):

• Ages 0–2: stay free (cots available)

• Ages 3-15: pay 50% of adult accommodation rates, 50% of the conservation rates

• Ages 16+: considered adults

• Ages 0-15 must stay with an adult in the room

SINGLE SUPPLEMENT: 50% single supplement

RATES INCLUDE:

• Accommodation with full board – breakfast, lunch and dinner

• Tea and coffee, spring water (not bottled)

• Use of outdoor wood-fired bath (bookable on-site, weather permitting from 1st

• November)

• Use of the yoga deck

• Use of the mapped out walking, birdwatching, hiking & bike trails (bring your own bikes)

• In house lawn games, board games

• Supervised children’s activities: Mountain treasure hunt and mini chef classes

• Private mountain (epic) view dining spot (bookable on-site, weather permitting, max 8 guests)

• Access to our conservation area (jointly managed with MyTrees and Border Timbers)

• MEALS:

  Breakfast: Served in the dining room – health buffet + menu of cooked meals to order

  Lunch*: Served in the dining room – light, 2 courses

  Dinner*: Served in the dining room – 3 courses

  *In-room dining available on request.

  Breakfast and picnic lunch boxes can be ordered the day before for day excursions and early morning departures.

RATES EXCLUDE:

• Fixed Conservation Levy that goes to My Trees ($20 pppn)

• All drinks

• Transfers to and from Chimanimani town

• Childminding services

ACTIVITIES AT ADDITIONAL COST: (you can also do all of these activities unguided, the lodge will provide you with directions)

• Guided hiking including river/gorge walks, trips to Bridal Veil Falls, Tessas Pool, Tilbury hot springs

• In-room massage (coming 2026)

• Hire of e-bikes (coming 2026)

  All activities are weather dependent and booked on-site.

CHECK-IN / CHECK-OUT:

• Check-in: from 14h00 (after 17h00 by arrangement)

• Check-out: by 11h00

• Guests may enjoy facilities until 14h00 and have lunch at The Treehouse (own cost)

TERMS & CONDITIONS:

• Rates in USD including VAT and government 2% tourism levy; subject to change

• 20% non-refundable Commitment Fee within 14 days of booking

• Balance due 45 days prior to arrival

• Provisional bookings not confirmed until deposit received

• The Treehouse Chimanimani may enforce 48-hour payment deadline in peak periods

CANCELLATION POLICY:

• 46+ days: forfeit Commitment Fee

• 45–30 days: 50% of booking

• <30 days: 100% of booking
